I came up with the idea of a chocolate liqueur in 1999 in Notting Hill, London, as my interest in blending fine chocolate and vodka (regular occupants in my fridge) led me to experiment and finally perfecting my secret chocolate liqueur recipe in New York.
Originally I used it to gain access to the best New York parties I continued to share this decadent creation with socialites, and fend off celebrity New York chefs and bar owners wanting the recipe. Eight years ago I bit the bullet and partnered with a distillery, the final piece of the puzzle. The rest is history in the making.
We use Fair Trade cocoa, high quality gluten-free vodka and produce it the old fashioned way in small batches. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
